ROBERT LEVY, L.C.S.W.
President

Experience
Founder and president, Robert Levy established CCA in 1984. Today, he presides over one of the most respected human capital consulting firms, with over 250 top tier clients worldwide. Mr. Levy combines his clinical and business backgrounds to direct CCA’s operations and provide the firm’s strategic direction.

A certified clinical social worker, Mr. Levy’s expertise includes mental health/chemical dependency and employee assistance programs. His previous experience includes: EAP consultant and counselor for Managed Health Network; director of the Adolescent Day Hospital of New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center; New York City probation officer; New York State narcotics parole officer; and field instructor for the Hunter College School of Social Work.

As the founder and publisher of two newsletters: The Human Resources Helpline and The Robert Levy Report on Employee Assistance, Mr. Levy helped raise the profile of EAP issues nationwide.

Mr. Levy holds a M.S. in Social Work from New York University and a B.S. in accounting from Queens College, City University of New York. He did his psychoanalytic training at the NPAP Psychoanalytic Training Institute.

He is a member of the National Associate for Social Workers, the Employee Assistance Professionals Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.

GEORGIA CRITSIMILIOS, LCSW
Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Experience
Georgia Critsimilios is Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Corporate Counseling Associates and a member of the firm's management team. She is a licensed clinical social worker with 20 years experience in the EAP & Work/Life industry. She is a proven business development professional with extensive experience in both sales and account management. She has consulted with Human Resource Executives in leading organizations in many industries.

At CCA, Georgia is responsible for strategic planning, marketing and sales initiatives designed to support the firm's growth goals and targets. She oversees sales activities, material development and PR. She is actively involved in the HR community, attending and presenting at HR meetings, organizations and events.

Prior to joining CCA, Georgia held a variety of clinical and account positions in the EAP & Work/Life industry. Her account and clinical experience is extensive.

THOMAS DIAMANTE, PH.D
Industrial & Organizational Psychologist
Senior Vice President, Human Capital Consulting

Experience
Dr. Diamante brings 20 years of diversified business experience to CCA. He is formerly of Merrill Lynch, Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Development in Global Securities Research & Economics reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Tom was Senior Manager and Lead Change Consultant for KPMG Consulting. Earlier in his career, Tom held executive Human Resource positions at Altria (Philip Morris Companies).

Tom’s organizational consulting experience reflects high-stakes, human-capital based, business risk and change management consultations. His research and practice emphasis is executive development. Tom leads consulting engagements for Fortune 500 firms requiring alignment of HR Strategy and business objectives. TomÂ’s experience includes screening candidates for leadership assignments (i.e., peacekeeping) in conflict-laden territories around the world (e.g., Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, E. Timor), C-level assessments, employment discrimination litigation prevention and change management.

Tom’s experience in assessment and coaching reflects cross-cultural executive development. On a wider scale he conducts non-financial due diligence for targeted investments (venture capital clients). In start-up environments, Tom works with entrepreneurial firms in the process of engineering disruptive technologies where the human-side of execution requires attention in preparation for product commercialization.

Tom’s experience developing executives reflects C-level coaching for the technology/engineering sector, hedge fund equity principals, SVP/C-levels in top-tier, global financial services (research technology/global operations), SVP Sales/Marketing for global consumer products and equity partners in venture capital firms.

Tom is a contributing author on Guidelines for Excellence in Management (2004; Thomson South Western); HR Solutions to Business Challenges (Gulf Publishing, 1998), Health Promotion Practices: Organizational Wellness (2006; Jossey-Bass); The Practice of Leadership: Best Practices in Assessment (2007; Jossey-Bass); Work Group Learning (2008; Erlbaum) and Emerging Business Theories for Educators & Practitioners (2008, Cambridge Scholars Publishing). The book chapter Authentic Performance: The Valuation of Work Behavior (2009) is being published in The Professional Practice Series, Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology). In addition, he brings numerous other publications in peer-reviewed journals on consultative topics such as leadership in digital business environments, performance management, coaching, assessment and development.

Tom is on the Associate’s Council for the Children’s Aid Society in New York. Tom serves on the Board of Directors for ENACT, Inc. a non-profit focused on the emotional, social and intellectual development of at-risk New York City schoolchildren.

ELLEN FEINBERG BLITZ
Director, Communications & Client Relations

Ellen Blitz is responsible for communications and client relations at CCA and is a member of the management team. Drawing upon her 20 years of experience working for major corporations and HR firms, she also consults with clients on a broad range of HR and communication issues.

Ms. Blitz directs the team that manages CCA’s 250 client relationships. She also creates and executes CCA’s internal and external communication strategy. As a CCA consultant, Ms. Blitz devises and implements communication strategies that support business goals. Her career has focused on building employee commitment and unifying organizations around common values, goals and performance standards that cultivate success.

Before joining CCA, Ms. Blitz was director of HR communications at Citigroup, where she was responsible for communicating HR programs and services, talent management and corporate-level training programs to employees and HR professionals worldwide. Prior to Citigroup, Ms. Blitz was a strategic communications consultant with Mercer, Foster Higgins, Towers Perrin, and The Wyatt Company.

Ms. Blitz is a member of the Council of Communication Management, Communitelligence and WorldatWork.

Ms. Blitz holds a B.A. in American Studies from Brandeis University and completed graduate work at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

JAY SANDYS , L.C.S.W.
Director, Clinical Services

Jay Sandys manages the delivery of counseling and clinical services for CCA. In that capacity, Mr. Sandys consults with managers and HR staff at client organizations on workplace issues, provides counseling to clients and supervises CCA’s clinical staff.


Mr. Sandys also oversees CCA’s quality assurance program and is responsible for account services for some of CCA’s largest clients. He is a member of the management team, assisting with the execution of strategic initiatives and policy formulation.

Mr. Sandys has considerable expertise addressing personal and organizational issues, developed through 14 years of clinical and management experience in a wide range of settings. Prior to joining CCA, Mr. Sandys was the Manager of Pediatrics and Women’s Health for the Department of Social Work at New York Presbyterian Hospital—Weill Cornell Medical Center where he managed a large professional staff and coordinated a variety of support and advocacy programs.

Mr. Sandys is completing his dissertation on EAP Evolution as a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical Social Work at New York University. He received his M.S.W. from Tulane University and his B.A. in English Literature from McGill University. He is certified as a Trained Change Facilitator and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).

Mr. Sandys is a member of the National Association for Social Workers, the Employee Assistance Professionals Association and the Employee Assistance Society of North America.
