Skill Builders
Quite often employees are promoted into management positions because of their performance or technical skill, but they do not always possess the people skills necessary to succeed as a manager. They are often inexperienced in managing others, building teams, communicating effectively or keeping their cool in tough situations. When difficulty arises, they do not have the tools to manage and lead in an experienced and effective way.
CCA’s Skills Builders are one-on-one coaching programs designed to improve a particular skill area. This service is appropriate for managers, front-line supervisors, and employees with specific learning needs who are viewed as potential leaders within your organization.
CCA’s Skill Builders are customized and include a base-line assessment with the employee and their referring supervisor. Based on the assessment, the employee attends three skill-building sessions on the determined topic. They work one-on-one with one of CCA’s Skill Building consultants. After the initial three sessions are conducted, a follow-up session is held to troubleshoot ongoing issues and identify additional areas of growth.
