Stress Management for the HR Professional

MAXIMIZING HR’S POTENTIAL SERIES
Our “Stress Management for the HR Professional” workshop that took place on March 22, 2007 in The New York Helmsley Hotel, kicked off the brand new “Maximizing HR Potential” series.
This event provided a wonderful opportunity for HR Professionals from various industries to come together as a profession and brainstorm ways to better strategically manage HR stress, making it work FOR them, rather than against them.
The presenters were CCA trainers, Kalpana Parekh, LCSW and Mark Falango, LCSW. “We have delivered this training to many HR professionals in various industries and what we have found is that even though there are differences between industries, there are common denominators that all HR professionals face as challenges,” said Kalpana Parekh. Kalpana and Mark engaged the audience by facilitating a lively and informative group discussion, as well as a series of exercises and peer coaching that addressed current HR-specific challenges.
This training focused on the following:
- Major stressors unique to HR
- Four tools and strategies to manage HR stress
- Common resistances to change
- Developing a personal and departmental stress management action plan for change
The following workshops are part of the “Maximizing HR Potential Series” and will cover some of the top issues HR professionals face today:
- Navigating Through Change
- Managing Difficult Employees
- Retention and Engagement
