Global Ad Agency Seeks to Retain Female Executives

Client: Global advertising agency

Challenge: Retain senior female account executives, many of whom were not returning after maternity leave

  • Smooth the empoyees' return to work, including connecting the employee to a Parent Coach from the Work/Life program
  • Develop new procedures for enhancing the firm's flex-time policies

Client: Financial services provider

Challenge: Reduce employee stress (and related spikes in sick time) due to a company reorganization

Solution: CCA moved quickly to help by developing and delivering several customized initiatives:

  • On-site stress management programs helped employees better manage their stress
  • A comprehensive stress management training program, specifically designed for managers, helped ease tensions and improve teamwork

National Insurance Company Thrust into Crisis Management

Client: National insurance company

Challenge: Stabilize the corporate culture after an employee commits a sudden homicide on site

Solution: Within 24 hours, CCA's crisis team was on site and assisting the management team with addressing employee concerns about safety and security:

  • CCA counselors met with small groups of employees to provide crisis counseling and stabilize their initial shock, fear, anger and sadness
  • CCA developed a strategic plan to address the fall-out, advising the company's team on new policies and procedures
  • CCA assisted the firm's CEO and key executives put in a number of new safety and security issues to address the problems.

Result: CCA leadership, along with the firm's, met with all employees in small groups to review the changes
